Everyone, we have been using the same formula for this trip for YEARS now and it’s always Addison, always the Crowne Plaza, and always the Londoner!! All you need to know?? 160 BARS AND RESTAURANTS WITHIN 2-SQUARE MILES OF ADDISON!! ALSO, ALL OF OUR TICKETS ARE IN THE SAME SECTION!! THE SEASON TICKET HOLDERS IN THIS AREA HATE US!!!
Simple…We have a great Bar Crawl lined up for Friday upon arrival and it always ends up at our Green Legion Headquarters, our “friends of the program” at the Londoner!! The Travel Channel’s #1 rated place to watch a soccer game in the United States! It’s an authentic British Pub AND, having now traveled to the UK, can safely say it even SMELLS like a British Pub (and that is a good thing)!!
Saturday, do what you want all day but they open at 6 AM in case your body is just screaming for a Bloody Mary! On Saturday night, a lot of people opt for a great steak dinner, and then to the Londoner for The Green Legion Pep Rally Party, which was covered last year by NBC and a BLAST!! A lot of our Dallas friends join us every year and it is awesome!
Guess what?! We don’t have to get up early on Sunday morning!! Games start at 7:20 PM as we are on Central time! Then we head to one of the COOLEST tailgate parties you have ever been to, catered by our LONG-TIME “friend of the program,” Eddie Deen, and hosted by our newest FOTG, Kris Randoph, at a bar called VIP Sports Bar (formerly Fishbone Grill)!! The tent is about 400’ by 100’ and there is plenty of entertainment, food, alcohol, and good times!! It is seriously one of the coolest spreads you will ever see, and literally right across the street from the main entrance to AT&T Stadium!
After a win, back to the Addison! Those who purchased the Friday to Monday package with flights will see your plane takeoff around 6 PM so you don’t have to get up early and all of you will have a late check-out. Those who came in on Saturday morning, your flight will leave Tuesday morning at 6:00 AM. It’s a great time to take Monday to relax, go see some sights, play golf (which anyone who wants to join me, I will be doing), and get a great meal before watching Monday Night Football. Or maybe just wind down completely and know you don’t have to move an inch if you don’t want.
